Volt Charge, Sri Lanka's fastest-growing EV charging network, brought together more than 40 experienced charger installers from across the island for a full-day Technical Training and Certification programme held at JAT Holdings Head Office in Colombo.
The initiative forms part of Volt Charge's ongoing commitment to strengthening its nationwide installer network — the on-the-ground partners who install, commission, and support every Volt Charge unit in homes and businesses across Sri Lanka.
Building Technical Expertise
The training focused on the practical skills installers rely on every day. Sessions covered the correct installation procedure for Volt Charge's 7kW AC home chargers, along with configuration of the Dynamic Load Balancing unit — a critical step in ensuring safe, efficient charging on a home or building's existing electrical supply.
To reinforce the technical content, participants took part in a live demonstration using an actual 7kW charger, giving installers hands-on exposure to the full setup and configuration process from start to finish.

Introducing the Wider Volt Charge Range
Alongside the technical modules, installers received an overview of Volt Charge's full product and service range — from AC and DC fast chargers to the two/three-wheeler charging line and the VoltOS platform that powers every unit. The session gave installers a clearer picture of the complete ecosystem they represent when they're on-site with a customer.
Recognising Every Participant
At the close of the programme, every installer who completed the training received a certificate of participation — formal recognition of the skills and standards they now carry into every installation they undertake on Volt Charge's behalf.
